Veritas Email Notifications when disk fails

    I'm running Veritas Volume Manager 3.0.4 on several machines.
    Some machines email me when there is a vxvm event like a failed
    disk or a plex going offline but one machine which just had
    a disk failure did not email me.

    I don't see anything in the gui that allows you to set emails
    based on certain events.

    The manual says you can log to a log file or syslog but nothing
    about emailing.

    Does anyone know how Veritas handles emailing of events?
