    Many thanks to Ric Anderson, Andrew J, Imrick Michael, and Matthew Lee.
    In a nutshell:

    ============================================
    fix the scripts ran by cron :
    10 3 1,15 * 0 /usr/lib/newsyslog (Solaris up to 8)
     /usr/sbin/logadm on Solaris 9 (-A option)

    See logadm(1M) and logadm.conf(4).

    There are of course several fine free utilities for handling log files
    and even a very nice sophisticated syslog program which includes
    variable based log file names - syslog-ng[1].
    ==============================================

    Regards,
    Hugh

    Subject: Keep syslog messages for 90 days

    Hi,

    I would like to keep syslog messages for 90 days. Is there any way to
    configure syslog to do that?

    Regards,
    Hugh Tran
