patch installation

    Hi

    I am running solaris 9.
    We are trying to install the following patches
    113886-29 & 113887-29

    I get the following errors
    root@dawn # patchadd 113886-29

    Checking installed patches...
    One or more patch packages included in
    113886-29 are not installed on this system.

    Patchadd is terminating.

    Any ideas on what could be causing this
    What software needs to be installed for this

    Any help would be greatly appreciated
