    Hello,

    Hardware: Ultra 5
    OS : Solaris 8

An Ultra-5 fails to update the clock. Then several deamons
    (sendmail for instance) fail.

Here is an evidence: to test Web servers, somehost.ens.fr get /
on this Web server every 15mn. And the Apache logs contain:
      (here it's ok)
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:01:05 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 304 -
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:16:04 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 304 -
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:31:02 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 304 -
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:46:11 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 304 -
      (here it fails!)
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:58:49 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 4226
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:58:51 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 4226
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:58:51 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 4226
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:58:50 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 4226
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:58:50 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 4226
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:58:51 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 4226
    somehost.ens.fr - - [10/Jun/2005:02:58:51 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 4226

So my Ultra-5 decided to stay at 02:58:49 - 02:58:51 for several
hours... No NTP daemon, but it's the same problem with or without.

Where is the problem? Hardware? Software?

    Thanks in advance,
