    Hi Managers,
We have a SUN Fire V880 acting as a (oracle) database server and also as
our main application server...The server is working fine and seldom rises a
need to reboot it ... but when ever we reboot the server... it shuts down
every thing normally but hangs in the end after giving a message of syslogd
: going down on signal 15....It stays there forever unless we power down and
    power on again...
I would really appreciate if any one can guide me in resolving this
    issue...

    Regards,
    Aijaz Ahmed
