Hi Gurus,
I need help again from experts.
I want to dump slice /dev/dsk/c0t3d0s0 on file with
same name every day, running as
ufsdump 0f server:/var/tmp/abc.ufs /dev/dsk/c0t3d0s0
Problem:
1. It said first file name abc.ufs should be created
on server i.e touch abc.ufs why ?
2. 2nd time/day running same command it is not
overwriting but appending.
How should I overwrite/zeros this file in script ?
I can't cat /dev/null >abc.ufs because of remote
server ?
Regards
John
