I want to install jdk or jre 1.4.2 on a running Solaris 8 system.
I found a doc talking about 2 installation methods :
1. auto-extract shell
2. Solaris packages
I found the auto-extract shell on java.sun.com, but I can't find the solaris
packages.
- Do you know where to find the solaris packages ?
- What is the best method for Solaris (I wonder the packages method is
cleaner, but it seems Sun will not make it easy to find the packages)?
Thanks in advance.
