sendmail on solaris 10 broken?

    hello all,
    an E280 with s10 freshly installed, but sendmail gave errors:

    Aug 30 07:15:00 scr sendmail[14873]: [ID 801593 mail.alert]
    j7U5F0v0014873: Losing ./qfj7U5F0v0014873: savemail panic
    Aug 30 07:15:00 scr sendmail[14873]: [ID 801593 mail.crit]
    j7U5F0v0014873: SYSERR(root): savemail: cannot save rejected email anywhere

    another box (W2100 with s10_x86), with same sendmail.cf works well!

    on this machine, mconnect shows:
    scr-root% mconnect
    connecting to host localhost (127.0.0.1), port 25
    connection open
    220 scr.cmi.univ-mrs.fr ESMTP Sendmail 8.13.3+Sun/8.13.3; Tue, 30 Aug

    250 ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES
    vrfy henry
    550 5.0.0 Access denied

    strange that it displays only ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES, not other features,
    and what about "Acces denied"? what is it "denied"? we verify all
    privileges on /var/mail, /var/spool/mail, everything seems okay, this
    vox was just installed since 4 days!

    thans in advance for any help, suggestion, (dtrace scripts?)
