Is anyone running a v20z with sles9, with the NPS drivers installed to allow
the Service Processor to talk to the OS.

I built one using SLES9, (not the recently released SP1) Noted it was still
kernel version 97. Which is fine, since the drivers that come one the CD
that sun ships with the machine are the 97 drivers. So I installed the
drivers, including the NPS driver. Rebooted, everything fine. The SP even
reports OS running, rathen then OS booting.

So, time to run Online Update, and update all the software. Which includes
updating the kernel to rev 201. That finishes. Reboot.

Now on boot I get an error whe it tries to start poci, (which is part of the
    NPS package)

    /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S07poci: line 233: 4334 Killed insmod $JNET_INSMOD >
    /dev/null

And further down, boot hangs just after

Loading ACPI modules (Loading keymap qwerty/us.map.gz

That's it. The box is completely wedged at that point. Cant boot. Can't do
    squat.

Any ideas? My best guess at this point is to not load the Sun drivers onto
the machine, and live with the fact that the SP can't talk to the OS.

    Thanks
    -Andrew
