Solaris 10 Zone Issues

    Hi colleagues,

    I created a zone with following parameters
    as shown in the zonecfg output:

    #zonecfg -z lab
    zonecfg:lab> info
    zonepath: /export/home/zones/lab
    autoboot: true
    pool: lab
    inherit-pkg-dir:
            dir: /lib
    inherit-pkg-dir:
            dir: /platform
    inherit-pkg-dir:
            dir: /sbin
    inherit-pkg-dir:
            dir: /usr
    inherit-pkg-dir:
            dir: /opt
    net:
            address: 192.168.0.160/24
            physical: hme0

    Upon booting the zone I constantly keep getting errormessages.

    Upon installation of the zone the procedure fails to create
    following files:

    /etc/inittab
    /etc/mnttab
    /etc/passwd
    /etc/shadow

    Therefore the zone fails to boot.

    uname -a:
    SunOS my-host 5.10 Generic_118822-02 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-MP

    /etc/release: Solaris 10 3/05 s10_74L2a SPARC

    Help would be appreciated.
