Dear managers
Hello ,
I am having a problem with the FTP service in.ftpd.
Sometimes when an ftp request is sent to one of my servers, the process will
hang or just stop.
Request after this hung ftp process will back up and begin to fill up on the
server until I manually
go in and kill all the hung processes.
After I kill the processes, the following process seemed to go through fine
until it hangs again
and then I have to kill it again and again.
This has been happening for some time now and I am perplexed. I do not want
to have to keep killing
this process over and over again.
Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? is there a patch out there
that will correct this?
The problem is that no one can FTP into to or from the server that has the
ftp service hanging.
Thanks in advance
Rodney Rodgers
