Dear Sun Managers,
I've a V210 with Solaris 8 having a Multi Port Serial
Cards SunSAI/P, one of the port is hung and how can I
reset that particular serial port of Multi Port Serial
Cards. Anyone knows of what command to reset that port
as rebooting the server could be not possible as other
port is still working fine.

Re: Aminocom Aminet boxes. ... No switches but there is a space on the board for one, it's a reset switch but I don't fancy holding it down and powering up, there's only three of these with firmware and I don't want to provoke them into erasing it if I can help it. ... The box is IBM PPC based running embedded Linux 2.4, there's 16MB RAM and 8MB flash, two ports open on the working boxes, Telnet and 54321 which I suspect has to be the back end server control port but I can't seem to provoke any response from it. ... I think it uses something called JMACX which appears to be a proprietary protocol or control language on this port.... There's a serial port on the back and an unpopulated serial port-ish connector inside, I'm going to play with them this weekend to see if I can get a shell.. ... (uk.tech.digital-tv)
