    Hi all

We have a problem where a custom written application (Java jsp pages)
that interfaces with a 3th party document management system and Oracle
databases all running on Solaris 9 keeps crashing and taking down the
Solaris webserver with it. It crashes at arbitrary times during a call
to a vendor DLM on Solaris and therefore we think the problem exists in
some part of the vendor code (which the vendor will no longer support!)
    - There is the chance that the crash is being caused by our application
although the logging which we have implmented is not sufficient.

Can anyone recommend deep tracing / logging tools for Solaris 9 which
may help us to identify the problem - I guess I'm looking for stack
tace tools or lightweight thread monitoring tools that give more info
    than the standard truss command.

    Regards

    Subject: Session Log

    Dear Sun Managers,

I want to log all the commands typed by the solaris users.
There is capture command 'script' (in .profile) which captures the
    full session including output,
in that case the log file will be much more big, but need only command
    history.

Requesting you to point scripts for sh,ksh, bash & csh shells from
    login to exit.

      Thanks,
      V.John
