SunPCI 3 card in Solaris 10 machine

Dear managers,

I am trying to move a working Sun PCI configuration from a Solaris 9
(Sun Blade 150) to a Solaris 10 (Sun Fire 240) machine. I moved the
card and rebooted the target machine. I then did.

        touch /reconfigure
        reboot

I then installed the software with

        pkgadd -d /cdrom/cdrom0/Product

This gave me the following error:

## Executing postinstall script.

The SunPCi 3 driver installation has failed.
   Cannot find the driver file: sunpcidrv.2100
There is a SunPCi daemon process already running as pid 20434
pkgadd: ERROR: postinstall script did not complete successfully

Installation of <SUNWspci3> partially failed.

I googled for this and found the following hint.

        cd /opt/SUNWspci3/drivers/solaris/
        ln -s sunpci.290 sunpcidrv.2100
               ln -s sunpci.290.64 sunpci.2100.64

I copied the /pc directory from the Solaris 9 to the Solaris 10 machine
and then tried to start it

        /opt/SUNWspci3/bin/sunpci

This gave me

/dev/sunpci3drv*: No such file or directory
The SunPCi device driver is not installed.

To run the startup program:

      1. Type: su, then enter your superuser password.
      2. Type: cd /opt/SUNWspci3/drivers/solaris
      3. Type: ./sunpcload

It tried that and got

The SunPCi 3 driver installation has failed.
   Cannot find the driver file: sunpcidrv.2100

        cd /opt/SUNWspci3/drivers/solaris/
        ls -l
