Your Lun must be a metaLun.
You need the growfs command ( if u are not using veritas ) to increse your FS.

My original posting is:
A 200GB LUN (EMC Clariion CX600) is currently being used by a Solaris 8
host. The device ID on Solaris is: emcpower0a <DGC-RAID5-0206>
/pseudo/emcp@0. It is mounted as ufs file system. I like to expand the LUNto 250GB. Does Solaris 8 recognize the dynamic changed volume size?
File /etc/vfstab :
/dev/dsk/emcpower0d /dev/rdsk/emcpower0d /depot ufs 2 yes
