All...
Is it possible to obtain a crash dump from a diskless client? It
appears from a long-outdated bug on SunSolve that it's possible, but my
research has yielded nothing of great benefit. Here's what I see on the
client's console when I force a crash dump:
syncing file systems... done
dumping to /dev/swap, offset 429522944, content: kernel
WARNING: nfs_dump: end of file
..
..
..
0% done: 0 pages dumped, compression ratio 0.00, dump failed: error 5
WARNING: nfs_dump: end of file
rebooting...
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!
