Folder name with space ...

Hi All,

I am in the process of writing one shell script for the data management
purpose. But, I am facing a problem that the change directory command is not
working with the directories with a space.

For example : there is a folder like "DA FINAL BACKUP"
I am assigning this to a variable "folder" and calling it later -> cd
"$folder" , but it is not picking up the entire name, only picking up the
first part and
giving the error message.

folderchk: DA: does not exist

Is there any way to make it happen ? Eagerly waiting for a tip.

Thanks,
Nathan
