I get this error when I reboot my Solaris 7 box(SunOS dns1 5.7
Generic_106541-40 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10):
snmpdx: unable to get my IP address: gethostbyname(dns1) failed
[h_errno: ???(-1)]. I have to set the IP manually and then bring the NIC
up before it works. It was working ok until a reboot. I have checked
that the /etc/hosts has the correct entry and hostname.hme is present.
Can anyone tell me what to look for?
