I'm exploring the brave new world of (to me) SCSI card support under
Soalris X86. I've got a couple of questions.
One of the cards that I need to use (to support the old tape drive I'm
replacing) is an Adaptec 29160 (LVD). I found the following via a Goggle
search.

Is there any possibility that drivers for earlier versions of Soalris X86
will work with V10 X86 64bit?
If so, how would I install them. The instructions for installing this
discuss the use of a floppy drive, which my machine does not have. Could I
plug in a USB floppy, and get it to work?
The also discuss "device manager floppy", which I also don't have. Where
could I get this?
Thanks for helping out a newbie here.
Turns out that this card is suposed to eb supported by a native driver in
Soalris 10. I should eb able to set it up with devfsadm -C -v, but this
panics my machine.
