Performance Problems Oracle on Solaris 10 Zone

Hi,

We have an Oracle Installation on one of our V490s within a non-global
zone. Although this is by now the only zone where there is any serious
load produced, we have big performance problems. A benchmark, our dba,
ran, showed, it was about 1/20 as performant as an HP ProLiant with MS
SQL server.

We use local drives with raid 1 and have the NICs bound redundant onto 2
Enterasys switches. Logs show, failover works and both autosense to 1000
fullduplex.

Any hint, where I can look for?

I turned off any ressource controls on the zone and have still those
active on the database, our dba gave me from the oracle docu.

Kind regards,
Thomas
