TCP/IP failover under Plain Solaris 8

Hello all,
I have 2 V240's, 3 V210's, and 4 V440's that all have 4 GigE ports. I
have setup a Veritas cluster in the past where there was a virtual IP
assigned to the cluster and an individual IP assigned to each node and
in the event of a failure, one node picked up the IP and everything
stayed up. Now I have 9 systems that need a redundant network link...
can 2 NICs be teamed for failover purposes under Solaris 8 without any
additional software or hardware?
Thanks!!
