Summary: DDS3 4mm Tape clean procedure

Thanks for all the replies.
Consensus for cleaning DDS devices:

1. insert cleaning DDS tape
2. have coffee
3. tape device ejects cleaning tape when done
4. tick-off number-of-cleaning runs executed on paper that comes with
tape.

Thanks!
Lars

Subject: DDS3 4mm Tape clean procedure

Hi All,

I have a DDS3 tape device that should be cleaned.

What is the procedure for this operation? Merely inserting the cleaning
tape & waiting?

docs.sun.com didn't make me any wiser on this.

Thanks!

Lars
