Sun servers and Foundry switches

Hi all,
I have several Sun Servers running on a network, attached to a Foundry
FastIron 1500. We are having problems with network speed. The switch
is set for 100Full, and the network interfaces are set for 100Full.
However, we are getting really sloooooow transfer speeds from these
servers. For instance, when the servers are backed up on to tape, it
takes 40+ hours to do 20GB. These machines worked fine with the Cisco
switch they were on before, but since we moved them into a new building,
they are now on these Foundry switches. Does anyone know of any
conflicts with Sun servers and Foundry switches? What else could be
causing this problem? Any help would be appreciated, and I will
summarize and post. Thanks.
