Try pkgadd -d . /opt/SUNWSNDMR <- add the dot.

disks.

Hell list,

I have a box that was to be hardened so we striped out several packages
that were not needed. Now it turns out that we need sendmail on the box.
I cant get sendmail to install from the package that is on the first
disk of Solaris 10. We've been able to install other packages from
SunFreeware without issues. So it seems that the pkgadd is fine. I
copied the SUNWSNDMR package from the Product dir of the first Solaris
10 CD then ssh it over to the box but when I try to install it I get
this error:

pkgadd -d /opt/SUNWSNDMR

pkgadd: ERROR: no packages were found in </opt/SUNWSNDMR>

So how do I install the sendmail package from the install CD's?

PS: The machine is at a remote location so I can't put the CD it the
machine.

Thanks
