I use the standard solaris lp printing system. I have two network
printers and a solaris print server. The are a couple of client
workstations which queue there job to the server for printing. Since
past couple of days, the clients are not able to print. However the
print server has no problems in printing. telnet from the client
machines to the print server at printer port 515 is also fine. When i
send a print job from the client machine and do snoop at the server i
can see the request really coming in. I am wondering why is there
request not getting processed. This was absolutely until a couple of
days back. I request if somebody can enlighten me fixing this problem.

It will when you set the printing defaults on the Advanced tab of the ...printer properties AND the user has not already changed any of the user ... was installed by default on client with the option to print in color by ... So i changed the option on the print server so the printer print ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax)
