ICMP Redirect Behavior

Hello all,

I have static route defined in the server.when i am pinging the public
IP of the router it is showing a ICMP redirect..

210.212.212.1 - router IP
172.16.0.3 - default gateway
-------------------------------
sun 56 % /usr/sbin/ping 210.212.212.1
ICMP Host redirect from gateway 172.16.2.222
to 172.16.0.3 for 210.212.212.1
210.212.212.1 is alive
-------------------------------
This 172.16.2.222 is a windows XP system in our LAN. Since that system
is having a dual boot, if the system is booted in linux this problem is
not occuring..

I am confused..pls help.
