Gurus,
I am badly in need help here.
I need to install a True Type font on Solaris to be used in Oracle Reports
generated in post script format.
What I have done is:
- Get the font ttf file on the Solaris server.
- Use the tool /usr/dt/bin/sdtfontadm to install the font.
The tool list the font in its list as successfully installed, however the
command xlsfonts did not show that the font get installed.
My questions:
- Is the above method correct ? Any trick there ?
- Where did xlsfonts get the list of fonts ? and how could I let the
command see my ttf font ?
- Any link to download a Solaris complied version of tool ttkmkfdir ?
- Any other application to view fonts on Solaris ?
I will appreciate any help or link, and I will sure summarize.
Thanks
Levi
