SFV440 disk mirror

Hi All,

I have a SFV440 box. I will OS upgrade from solaris 8 to solaris 9. As you
know, there is a raid controller and my boot disk is mirrored via raidctl. So,
my question is that whether } need to delete volume before upgrade procedure.
Is it necessary to delete the volume before the upgrade? If it is a must, can
I delete it while I am in multi-level mode (run-level:3)? I would appreciate
nay help.
