UPDATE: MIB

-----Original Message-----

We are trying to set up opennms to 'talk' to the sunfire v890 box. My
opennms guy needs an mib for this machine so he can filter out
information w.r.t. disks, cpu, memory. Is this something anyone could
point me towards?

I am currently trying to understand how all this works, but until then
wanted to download the MIB as well.

SUGGESTIONS:

Try net snmp.

I opened a call with sun support and their approach is that we (SUN)
DON'T give out MIB other than the ones under /etc/sma/snmp/mib unless
you (customer) buys the Solaris Management Center.

I needed this to inform us if CPU / Mem / Disk goes down at any time.
Our opennms is set up with pager/cell/etc to call us up.

Thank you for all your help.

Regards,

Abhimanyu.
