Can we rely on NTP to adjust date manually when DST starts in March for EOL Solaris?

Gurus,

I made some tests and noticed that NTP can be used to
adjust the date manually when daylight saving time
starts in second Sunday of March 2007, assuming that
the NTP server is DST compliant. Do you see any
problem with using NTP instead of buying the Solaris
patch?

Thanks,
Clarissa
