pci adapter (usb) +

Folks;

I have an Ultra 10 that I am trying to equip with usb ports. Which vendor's
usb pci adapter is compatible with this workstation? It currently has no os
loaded, but will be running Solaris 10.

Also, will any external cd/dvd writer work with the os once installed?
I have looked at the hcl, but I occasionally find an accessory that will work,
but is not listed in the hcl.
