SUMMARY: StorEdge 3310 disks in unknown state

I will like to thank Grzegorz Bakalarski , who shared with me his experience.
In split bus configuration this is normal, but if we have less disks then reconfiguring the enclosures in single bus will solve the problem. And we can know the state of all the disks.

regards,
Imran

Dear Managers,

we have sun cluster connected with two JBOD arrays, the problem is when I look at enclosure status . I get atleast 6 disks on each JBOD in unknown state. One of my friends says that enclosure are ok . if anyone of you have experienced this problem please confirm.
