Server Very Slow

Our web server is suddenly very slow and getting the
page not displayed message often.I have checked and
there is no issue with the mem, cpu. I am able to see
that these have the bge interfaces and are currently
set to 100 full (auto off) so we can adjust the NIC
and as well as the switch port to gain the Gig speed.
But it has always been that way and i fell this is
happening after we have installed the latest patch
cluster 20 days 16 days ago. I am not sure what i
should do although i might try to change the setting
to auto on and try to get the gig speed. any other
suggestions? this is solaris 9 with a v240.
