SunFire V490 sizing question

Greetings. We are looking at getting a SunFire V490 with 4 cpus. It
comes with UltraSPARC IV+ at either .1.8GHz or 1.5GHz. A reseller told
us:
You want a 4 CPU 1.8 - they have a 4 CPU 1.5 that may be better
Anyone know why he'd recommend a slower cpu? The servers we are
replacing are seriously maxxed out E450s with 2x400GHz cpus, and loads
of up to 70 at peak periods.
