Disk of size 1.8TB gets detected as 141GB on solaris 8

Hi Gurus....

I have allocated 1.8TB lun from our emc cx700 storage to an E420R machine
running solaris 8.

While running format before label, I saw the error...

Mode sense page(3) reports nsect value as 256, adjusting it to -29

This after label shows as 141 GB only. Do I need to add anything in
format.dat to enable it to read larger luns.

Further, I tried to select auto-configure under "type" and I see...

emcpower1g: configured with capacity 141.09GB
<DGC-RAID5-0219 cyl 4517 alt 2 hd 1 sec 65507

Pls help on this. I also tried to venture into expert mode of format, but
does not see any useful there.

Thanks.....Suhas Bhide
