Guys
Really quick question, Im looking to set up hardware mirroring (RAID1)
on my v440 boxes using the raidctl utility. I have currently got my
x4100 boxes mirrored using this method (albeit from the BIOS based
utility rather than raidctl) and all is good, I can mirror my 4 disks
into two sets of 2 (i.e. c0t0 mirrored with c0t2 and c0t1 mirrored with
c0t3)
Now ive been reading up on v440 hardware mirroring and it says I can
only create one mirror involving a max of two disks, is this correct
.....??? I find this very strange considering the box has 4 disks. ...so
I can only mirror 2 of them .....surely I am mis-reading this
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Gary
