Sun Cluster 3.1 and 3510FC and Veritas and Failed Drive

Hello All,

I need some help. I have a 2 node cluster running Sun Cluster 3.1
with Sol 8 and Veritas VxVM and VxFS, I have a 3510fc with a controller
and expansion enclosure and it has 2 controllers and it multipathed with
vxio... Anyways... when the system was originally setup, the 3510 was
setup to have RAID0 Logical Drives with Logical Volumes having several
Partitions.. These partitions were then presented to the cluster nodes
obviously as luns... Then these partitions on the RAID0 setup were
mirrored to other partitions also on RAID0 logical disk... Anyways.. I
have lost a disk in one of my RAID0 Logical Drives, therefore all 4
logical volume partitions under that are bad. Veritas kicked me out an
alarm saying the plexes failed... So, I am still up and running, but my
volumes have one plex in effect instead of 2. I hope this makes sense
thus far... Like I hinted at, I am not the one that setup raid0...
Anyways.. I have another disk(actually 2) in my array that is not in use
at all. So I have a disk I can use to replace it with... The part I need
help with is putting all the steps together before I start. I am not 100%
familiar with 3510fc, I am more familiar with 3310 scsi and 6130's and
6140's, etc...

So, Question
1)... What's the best order to go about this?
2) I think these things need to take place
a) vxdiskadm use option to remove drive for replacement
b) Should I delete the RAID0 logical disk and recreate
another one?? Or can I somehow re-build the same disk so I can keep the
sam wwn's??
c) When I delete the RAID0 disk and the partitions and
the system doesn't see them anymore, what commands should I run, obviously
I would think a devfsadm to cleanup the extra device files, but what
about the did stuff for the cluster, do I need to run any scdidadm
commands I would think I would?? Also, I would need to do the devfsadm
and scdidadm on both nodes, correct?
d) Also, assuming I have to delete the old disk and
partitions and create new ones, then i would need to run devfsadm on both
nodes, and then scdidadm to create the did files?? Any
particular order to this that's best??
e) Then I would use vxdiskadm and the replace a failed or
removed disk option, then that should re-create my other plex so my
volumes are mirrored I would think..

Any help is greatly appreciated, I will summarize and I have searched but
can't seem to get alll the steps straight in the right order.. I can send
whatever output would help, etc... I know from this info it's all
theoretical... I have mapped out what device files go to what partitions,
etc on the array and what disks names are in veritas..

Thanks
