Disk for Sun Fire 280R

One of our research groups would like to upgrade the disks in their Sun
Fire 280R. The server came with two 36.4 GB 10k FC-AL disks and they would
like to bum them to around 300 GB. Our local Sun office says they can only
provide 73.4 GB disks. I am guessing because these were the largest
available for the server at the time it went EOL. Has anyone acquired
larger disks for a 280R from a third party and them work?
Thanks!
