PKGINFO:ERROR corrupt or missing

Hi All,



I have installed afresh OS sol 10

And I do a pkginfo

pkginfo: ERROR: pkginfo file is corrupt or missing

it throws the above error

I don't have a clue what to do



I tried this -



cd /var/sadm/pkg
for i in *
do
echo "============================================"
echo $i :
pkginfo -i $i
done



but everything here looks clean



any help is a like an oasis.
