pam_ldap and ssh keys

Has anyone had success in getting ssh key based authentication to work
after switching to pam_ldap?
We are using Sun One server 5.2p4, and I'm testing with a Solaris 10
client at 118833-36, which is supposed to have the latest ldap client
patches rolled in.
We are getting mixed messages from Sun on whether this is even possible.
The Sun One docs say that it's not possible, but some bug reports (4909247
& 6338769) indicate that passwordless authentication is possible at our
server and client patch levels. In addition, bug report 6365986 states
that the Sun document's statement is in error and needs to be changed.
We have a case open with Sun to figure out if there is anything we are
missing, but I thought it would be good to see if anyone else has ssh keys
working with Sun's pam_ldap.
Thanks,
Chad
