hello, I have a SFV880 in which the /var slice has been corrupted in
both sides of the mirror, (I have no idea why )
d26: Mirror
Submirror 0: d6
State: Needs maintenance
Submirror 1: d16
State: Needs maintenance
Pass: 1
Read option: roundrobin (default)
Write option: parallel (default)
Size: 16779312 blocks
d6: Submirror of d26
State: Needs maintenance
Invoke: metareplace d26 c1t0d0s4 <new device>
Size: 16779312 blocks
Stripe 0:
Device Start Block Dbase State Hot Spare
c1t0d0s4 0 No Maintenance
d16: Submirror of d26
State: Needs maintenance
Invoke: after replacing "Maintenance" components:
metareplace d26 c1t1d0s4 <new device>
Size: 16779312 blocks
Stripe 0:
Device Start Block Dbase State Hot Spare
c1t1d0s4 0 No Last Erred
I need to fix this, Which is the best way to do it ? (I am a little
rusty on sds)
1.- shutdown the system
2.- boot cdrom -s
3.- fsck -y /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s4 ; fsck -y /dev/dsk/c1t1d0s4
4.- metareplace -e d6 c1t0d0s4
5.- metareplace -e d16 c1t1d0s4
, and all should be fine, right ? any thoghts are welcome.
Thanks and I will summarize !
