Looking for best platform to support Solaris 2.6 legacy apps

What is the fastest Sun platform to support Solaris 2.6?
I need to provide a Solaris 2.6 platform to support an application that
the vendor will not migrate to anything newer.
Can anyone think of anything better than a Enterprise 420R with quad
450Mhz processors?
