Disk Management Help

I need help in Solaris disk management. I am an HP-UX Veritas LVM and not
very good in solaris. I just got a solaris 10 server that connects to 2
A1000 arrays. I need to find available disk space (about 30gb) on
the array for setting zoning. Here is what I found on the disk c3t5d1 (other
disks are used up:

df -h /dev/dsk/c3t5d1*

I see the partion (slice) 0 has 42GB but not mounted to anything. Does it
mean this slice is available? How do I know if anything using this slice?
