Slow inetd services



Good Day

The inetd services on my solaris 8 2/02 are very slow. This started after a reboot when the network services would fail to startup and then after soe 40mins or so, the services would be active. Sometimes these services do not start at all
The server is also failifn to resolve it's own hostname. when it ype the hostname commnad i get the unknown host error. The hostname is present in both the /etc/nodename and the /etc/hostname.hme0 files.

Can you please assit? i will summarise
