Summary: Connecting D1000 to SunFire 280R

Dear managers,
thanks for your responses again:
I have a SF 280R and a D1000. I noticed that both have a wide
SCSI-connector. Can I use the built-in SCSI connector of the 280 to
connect to the D1000
The built-in SCSI-adaptor is for connecting tapes only (upto 4). For
connecting a D1000 one needs a High-Voltage-Differential-HBA like
X6541A and corresponding cables.
