hi
I have a Master sun one ldap server configured and have 2 consumer
servers. there is a replication agreement between master and consumer
servers however from past few days I have noticed following errror on
my master ldap server which is not able to replicate the ldap data to
one of my consumer servers while other consumer is in sync.
[16/Jan/2008:17:51:12 +051800] - ERROR<8318> - Repl. Transport -
conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - [S] Bind failed with response: Failed to
bind to remote (900).
[16/Jan/2008:17:51:22 +051800] - INFORMATION - NSMMReplicationPlugin -
conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Could not send consumer xxx1xx1-x-xx:3800
the bind request
[16/Jan/2008:17:51:22 +051800] - INFORMATION - NSMMReplicationPlugin -
conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - Failed to connect to replication consumer
xxx1xx1-x-xx:3800
I dont have much experience on sun one but have checked followin..
1. successfully runs anonymous ldapsearch from master server to consumer server
2. tried to do ldapmodify for an entry on master server which is
replicated on one consumer server but not reflected on the problem
consumer server
3. checked basic connectivity between two servers on port 3800 which is ok
4. could not find any entry on consumer access and error logs
regarding MOD are any repication errros.
kindly suggest me what could be wrong ? and also How do i check if the
consumer ldap database is in read only mode. On Xserver startconsole
of SUNONE directory manager it does not show me the tick next to
database in readmode.
Please help
God bless you alll....
regards,
