Verify passwords in Microsoft Active Directory
My organization has deceided upon using Active Directory as the directory
service.
We do have a few Sun Solaris servers (and workstations) and would like to
avoid having several passwords for each user. On the RedHat servers some PAM
module is used to verify userpassword against useraccount. Is there a similar
way to do this in Solaris? We do not want to fully integrate Solaris user
management in Active Directory, at least not for now. But again our current
aim is to avoid having different passwords on different architectures. A
cookbook or an example procedure would be nice.
Regards, Torstein
