Automate application configuration

Hi folks,

I would like to automate many applications configuration in a newly
installed platforms. The configuration should be done by a non Solaris
expert user.
what is the best solution to offer this in case I prefer not to give lot of
scripts to the end user .

is a GUI interface suitable.
