Jumpstart through firewall

We are trying to jumpstart some v215's through a firewall and having no
success. When we enter the "boot net - install" command at the ok prompt,
all we get is "Requesting Internet Address for <MAC address of the v215>".
We know jumpstart works because we can put the v215's on a subnet outside of
the firewall and it works just fine. Our networking folks say the firewall
is wide open currently but will be closed down in the near future. Even
with it "wide open" we still get the requesting internet address message.
Has anyone else come across this and what was the solution, if there was
one.

Thanks
