unable to access /net directory

Dear Sun Managers,
I've a nfs server and 2 nfs client running Solaris 10. nfs server file system is properly shared out and I'm able to cd /net/<nfs server>/dir1 from client A machine. However, in client B machine when I cd /net/<nfs server>/dir1 I'm getting "bad directory!" error or I/O error.
There isn't any disk storage error because client A is able to access the directory. If I cd to the file system from client B using ip address.... cd /net/<nfs server ip addr>/dir1, I'm able to access see the files and directory.
Can someone shed some light on this issue and how should I proceed from there?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Tim
